Relaxing the muscles around your skin cancer

Scars heal best when the skin is allowed to rest. Botox before surgery will temporarily relax muscles and minimizes movement around scars in the face, which may reduce pain and improve healing. The cost of treatment is reasonable despite not being covered by insurance, as only a small amount of Botox is required

Photodynamic Light Therapy

Lifelong exposure to the sun causes skin cancer, as well as damage and pre-cancerous changes to the skin around your tumor. Photodynamic Light Therapy can be performed in all patients either during Mohs surgery or after healing is completed to reverse sun damage and pre-cancerous changes, and reduce the risk of new tumors.
